New Doosan DXB170 breaker available for excavators
Winter 2011
For demanding demolition and rock-breaking applications, there's a new Doosan nitrogen-powered breaker attachment to easily finish the job. The 3,572-pound DXB170 breaker is approved for use with the Doosan DX225 and DX255 excavators in the 18 to 28 metric ton weight range - one of the most popular excavator weight classes. High quality Doosan manufacturing processes provide optimal performance, even in the harshest conditions.
Features of the new 5,000 ft.-lb. breaker include blank fire protection, which utilizes a cushion of oil on the base of the piston; reduced pressure spikes; and an upper and lower suspension to isolate the excavator from the breaker's housing.
Additional features include a patented main valve to optimize strike power; an energy recover system to increase the strike power by using energy generated by piston rebound; and a one-year warranty.
Standard equipment
The new Doosan DXB170 breaker comes standard with a bracket cap, auxiliary hydraulic hoses, automatic greaser, two moil points, a tool box with additional breaker tools, a nitrogen gas inflating kit and a checking device.
Tools
Choose from four tools to maximize the DXB170 breaker's efficiency. The tools include a moil for general breaker use; a blunt tool for use in concrete and block-breaking applications; a chisel to break up larger pieces of concrete so it's easier to haul; and a pyramidal or "nail" to break up reinforced concrete and other hard materials.
